Thanh Mien new urban area project still has 29 households that have not yet handed over the land

Thanh Mien New Urban Area Construction Investment Project has an area of ​​over 91 hectares with a total investment of about 1,200 billion VND.

To implement the project, Thanh Mien district had to reclaim land from 388 households in Thanh Mien town. As of December 15, 353 households had received compensation and site clearance support. 6 households were completing related legal procedures. There were 29 households with a total area of ​​nearly 3 hectares of land that had not yet agreed to the compensation price and site clearance support.

Thanh Mien Town People's Committee affirmed that the appraisal, approval of compensation and support plans and issuance of land recovery decisions were carried out in accordance with the provisions of law. The locality is actively mobilizing and propagating to households to hand over land early so that the project can be implemented on schedule.

It is expected that in February 2025, Thanh Mien district will forcibly recover land from households that do not comply with land handover.

Thanh Mien New Urban Area Construction Investment Project is invested by a joint venture of Anh Quang Investment LLC, Thai Duong Construction Investment and Commercial Services and Hoang Thanh.investment. Total investment capital of the project is over 1,200 billion VND.
