As of December 5, 471 households whose land was recovered to implement the East-West Road Construction Project in Kim Thanh District (Hai Duong) have received compensation.
According to the People's Committee of Kim Thanh district, by December 5, 471 households whose land area was recovered to carry out site clearance for the Kim Thanh District East-West Axis Road Construction Project and the branch to the National Highway 5 overpass intersection (phase 2) had received compensation and signed the site clearance compensation plan with an amount of more than 60 billion VND.
Specifically, Kim Thanh district has paid compensation to 118 households in Kim Anh and Ngu Phuc communes with a total amount of VND 13.19 billion. Kim Tan commune has approved the compensation plan for 104/111 households and individuals with a total amount of VND 15.89 billion (7 households have not agreed to sign the compensation plan). Dong Cam commune has approved the compensation plan in 3 phases for 196 households, totaling VND 24.25 billion, and approved the compensation plan to support agricultural land, crops and assets on land for 12 households, with a total amount of VND 1.36 billion. Tam Ky commune has approved the compensation plan to support agricultural land, crops and assets on land for 41 households with a total amount of VND 7.06 billion.
Up to now, Kim Thanh district has disbursed more than 60 billion VND out of the total allocated capital of 135 billion VND.
The project to build the East-West axis road of Kim Thanh district and the branch to the intersection of the National Highway 5 overpass (phase 2) has a total length of about 12 km, passing through 5 communes: Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc, Kim Tan, Dong Cam, Tam Ky. The project has a total investment of 612 billion VND. To implement the project, Kim Thanh district must reclaim 233,090 m2Land of 555 households. Many households have complicated land origins, so the work of checking, counting, and statistics encounters many difficulties.
In October 2024, the Kim Thanh District East-West Axis Road Construction Project and the branch to the National Highway 5 overpass intersection (phase 2) will begin construction.
