On April 15, the People's Committee of Dak Nong Commune (Ngoc Hoi District, Kon Tum Province) informed that people in Ta Pok Village (Dak Nong Commune) were harvesting cassava in the fields of Sub-area 154 (Dak Ang Commune, Ngoc Hoi District) when they suddenly encountered heavy rain and lightning. People ran into a nearby hut to take shelter from the rain. INTERNATIONAL

South Korea and the United States conducted a phased joint air exercise on the Korean Peninsula on April 15, involving at least one US B-1B bomber, the South Korean Defense Ministry said. The exercise also involved South Korean F-35A and F-16 fighter jets, along with US F-16s. The Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) announced on April 14 that heavy rains and floods have hit several provinces in the country, with the capital Kinshasa being one of the hardest hit. According to the latest data, 11 areas in Kinshasa have been affected, forcing more than 5,000 people to evacuate.
