Stop selling 4 commune-level People's Committee headquarters after rearrangement

According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the period of 2019 - 2021, the Provincial People's Committee approved the plan to sell assets on land and transfer land use rights for 4 commune-level People's Committee headquarters after the rearrangement. Including 3 headquarters in Kim Thanh district, including the headquarters of the People's Committee of the old Cam La commune, now Dong Cam commune, the headquarters of the People's Committee of the old Kim Khe commune, now Kim Lien commune; the headquarters of the People's Committee of the old Viet Hung commune, now Tuan Viet commune and 1 headquarters of the People's Committee of the old Phuong Hung commune (partially sold), now Gia Loc town. However, up to now, the starting price of these headquarters has not been decided by the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the provisions of the Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, Decree No. 03/2025/ND-CP dated January 1, 2025 of the Government, houses and land facilities that have not been decided by competent authorities on starting prices will stop selling and implement changes in the plan.

Currently, the units are reviewing the planning and submitting it to the competent authority for decision to change the handling plan. Accordingly, these headquarters will be transferred to the district level for management and sale according to the provisions of the new land law.

After the administrative unit arrangement in the period of 2019 - 2021, the whole province has a surplus of 30 public headquarters. Implementing the arrangement and handling plan according to Decision 3604/QD-UBND dated December 29, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee, 12 headquarters will continue to be used and 1 headquarters will be partially retained to arrange working places for the police, military, unions, and sports complexes; 11 facilities will be transferred to schools, to build cultural houses, and historical and cultural relic sites; 4 headquarters will be auctioned (the 4 headquarters mentioned above); 2 headquarters will be temporarily retained.
