Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang and the Mayor of Rivas-Vaciamadrid City (Spain) agreed that the two localities will strengthen cultural exchanges and investment cooperation in the coming time.
On October 22, during the working program in Europe, the delegation of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee led by comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with the Mayor of Rivas-Vaciamadrid City (Spain).
Attending the meeting were comrades: Doan Thanh Song, Vietnamese Ambassador to Spain; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban and a number of comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of a number of departments and branches of Hai Duong province.
Ms. José Masa, Mayor of Rivas-Vaciamadrid City, along with a number of leaders and businesses received and worked with the working delegation of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.
Ms. José Masa welcomed and thanked the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee delegation for visiting and discussing with the city leaders. Ms. José Masa and her colleagues introduced to the delegation the socio-economic situation of Rivas-Vaciamadrid City, including projects on artificial intelligence, urban development, energy management and sustainable environment that the city and businesses are interested in and can provide technical support to Hai Duong in the coming time.
Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang informed about the situation and some results of socio-economic development and foreign affairs of Vietnam and Hai Duong province in recent times. He also informed about issues and areas that Hai Duong wishes to attract investment in the coming time.
Leaders of the two localities agreed to enhance cultural exchanges and investment cooperation in the coming time, especially in the field of urban energy management and solar energy system development to improve efficiency, sustainable development, and environmental protection.
