Standing Deputy Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu encouraged workers in the highlands on the occasion of International Day of Happiness

On the afternoon of March 20, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited, presented gifts to 3 families and encouraged workers at the dormitory of Brother Industrial Company Limited in Phuc Dien commune (Cam Giang) on ​​the occasion of International Day of Happiness March 20.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu visited the families of Giang Thi Chu, Lau Thi Mai, and Lu Thi Giang. These are all Mong and Thai ethnic households from Dien Bien province who came to Hai Duong to work as workers.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu kindly asked about the work and family life of the households in the boarding house. He hoped that the households would comply with the regulations of the enterprise and local regulations to have a stable and long-term relationship.

Visiting the dormitory of Brother Industrial Co., Ltd., comrade Le Van Hieu highly appreciated the way the company arranged living conditions and accommodation for workers living far away. He suggested that the company continue to care for and pay attention to infrastructure facilities and workers' lives in a sustainable and quality manner. The dormitory of Brother Industrial Co., Ltd. was built in 2011, providing accommodation for about 1,000 workers living far away. Priority is given to those living in mountainous areas.

Expressing to the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu, the workers in the highlands wished to stay with their jobs in Hai Duong. At the same time, they hoped that all levels and sectors would have preferential policies and support for housing so that they could work with peace of mind and bring their children to live with them.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu acknowledged the workers' recommendations. He also informed that Hai Duong, along with the whole country, is currently implementing the construction of social housing at a high level. Based on resources and practical situations, the province will continue to study support policies so that workers and laborers can access social housing at the most preferential prices.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu also requested that businesses in the province join hands with the Party Committee and government so that workers and laborers can enjoy adequate housing, cultural, educational facilities, etc., ensuring quality of life.
