At the 15th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu requested that Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels proactively propose policies and programs to care for children.
On the afternoon of March 21, at the Dong Xu Cultural Center, the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union organized the 15th Uncle Ho's Good Children Congress in 2025.
Comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended and delivered a speech directing the congress.
Also attending were comrade Le Hai Long, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth Union's Children's Work Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee Nguyen Quang Phuc, Secretary of the Chi Linh City Party Committee Hoang Quoc Thuong; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Khac Toan.
200 outstanding team members representing over 180,000 teenagers and children across the province attended the congress.
Speaking at the congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu acknowledged and commended the results in implementing the movement "Vietnamese children compete to well implement Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" of Hai Duong children.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, unions and socio-political organizations, especially the education sector, create a favorable environment for children and adolescents to have conditions to study, play, practice, develop skills and strengths; pay more attention to children in difficult circumstances, remote areas so that all children in the province can study and play.
Youth Union and Young Pioneers at all levels need to proactively and actively innovate the content and methods of operation in target groups, focusing on moral and lifestyle education activities for children. Advise well on training and reserve cadres for Youth Union and Young Pioneers work to ensure continuity; proactively propose policies and programs to care for and support children's comprehensive development.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu asked children to continue to be shining examples in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, always striving and training to become good children and good students, knowing how to respect and learn from friends who are better than them, knowing how to love and share with friends who are in more difficult circumstances than themselves.
Over the past 5 years, Hai Duong children have built 538 bookcases "Uncle Ho with children, children with Uncle Ho" with nearly 200,000 books and documents. More than 138,000 children in difficult circumstances have been helped. Built and donated over 12,150 youth projects at all levels...
On this occasion, 3 collectives and 12 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in implementing the movement "Vietnamese children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" in the period of 2020 - 2025. 30 outstanding team members and good children of Uncle Ho received certificates of merit from the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union and 200 children were certified with the title "Good Children of Uncle Ho" at the provincial level.
