According to ACB, this fabricated information has seriously violated the dignity, honor, rights and legitimate interests of the leaders and negatively affected the image and reputation of ACB.
In particular, this false information also risks causing confusion and panic among the public, negatively affecting the financial and monetary security of the finance and banking sector in Vietnam.
The bank said it has collected all content posted and spread false information in accordance with legal procedures to report the incident to competent management agencies for handling in accordance with the law.
"As a leading bank in risk management, ACB always affirms transparency, safety and high responsibility in all activities to ensure the interests of customers, shareholders and partners," ACB's announcement affirmed.
