Many old district police headquarters in Hai Duong are being reused.

From March 1, 2025, after the dissolution of the district-level police, Hai Duong will have 12 police headquarters in districts, towns, and cities. Most of the facilities at the headquarters are still good, conveniently located in central areas.

By March 18, many old district-level police headquarters had been requisitioned by the provincial police departments.

Gia Loc District Police Headquarters is currently used by the Mobile Police Department. The Criminal Techniques Department uses the Cam Giang District Police Headquarters. The Administrative Police Department for Social Order uses the Tu Ky District Police Headquarters. The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department uses the Nam Sach District Police Headquarters.

It is known that the professional departments will continue to be assigned to reuse the district police headquarters. In addition to taking advantage of existing facilities and avoiding waste of assets, this also ensures more favorable working conditions for officers and soldiers; at the same time, it achieves the goal of bringing the police closer to the grassroots.

After more than half a month of dissolving the district-level police, many tasks of this force have been transferred to the police of 207 communes, wards and towns in Hai Duong.

Up to now, the new apparatus of the commune-level police has basically operated stably, in accordance with the motto of the police force "Comprehensive province; strong commune, close to the grassroots".
