On the morning of November 11, the Editorial Team of the 18th Hai Duong Provincial Party Congress Documents, term 2025 - 2030, met to review the draft (second time) of the political report on the fields of socio-economy, science - technology, environment, national defense - security, inspection, justice, and foreign affairs.
Comrade Luu Van Ban, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Document Editing Team in charge of the Economic - Social Department chaired the meeting.
Before the meeting took place, the Department of Planning and Investment had compiled the report and sent it to the delegates. The meeting went straight into discussing the issues suggested by Deputy Editor-in-Chief Luu Van Ban.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban directed heads of departments, branches and sectors who are members of the Document Subcommittee and members of the Document Editorial Team to continue reviewing and drafting reports of the sectors and fields directly under their management.
The reports need to be based on the resolutions and socio-economic development programs of the Central and the province to review, develop, ensure comprehensiveness, brevity, and conciseness; have analysis and comparison with the targets of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025 and compare with provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region.
For each field, the report needs to evaluate what has been achieved and what has not been achieved, point out limitations, and provide specific directions and solutions for overcoming them in the coming term.

The natural resources and environment sector needs to report and evaluate more thoroughly, including data on a number of indicators on land allocation, resolving problems in site clearance compensation, mineral management, and environmental issues related to waste and wastewater.
The report should include results achieved in the transport sector, with particular attention paid to results achieved in transport infrastructure investment.
After the departments and branches report, the Document Editorial Team researches, edits, and completes the general report of the Economic - Social Department. The report is structured in a general and evaluation direction, then the specific contents are explained.
Comrade Luu Van Ban assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to receive comments at the meeting and complete the draft report so that the Document Editorial Team can complete the joint report of the Economic - Social Department within the prescribed time.
