Voters in Hai Duong proposed many issues regarding administrative procedures, staff arrangement, naming when planning to merge provinces, and arranging communes, wards, and towns.
On April 14, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province met with voters in Cam Giang and Binh Giang districts.
In the morning, the delegation including comrades: Trieu The Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society; Nguyen Thi Mai Thoa, member of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society; Bui Sy Hoan, Director of the Department of Justice; Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung, health sector official met with voters at the hall of the People's Committee of Duc Chinh commune (Cam Giang).
At the meeting, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province announced the expected content of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, reported the results of responding to voters' petitions, and the results of receiving citizens' petitions since the 8th session.
Ten voters of Cam Giang district expressed their opinions. Voters assessed the policy of streamlining the apparatus and rearranging administrative units at all levels as a great revolution and is receiving the attention and support of many cadres, party members, and people. Many voters proposed issues related to the planned merger of Hai Duong province and Hai Phong city, and the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units in the province.
Voters expect that when provincial and communal administrative units are merged and the district level is abolished, administrative procedures will be simplified. The province will have solutions to facilitate people when carrying out procedures, especially when it is expected to merge provinces and change administrative centers.
Some voters suggested paying attention to arranging staff in the new administrative unit, retaining talented people, making reasonable arrangements, and creating favorable conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to work and contribute.
For part-time commune-level activists, many voters suggested paying attention to the support regime when they stop using the service because these are people who have contributed and worked enthusiastically in the past.
Regarding projects, voters expressed concern about which level will manage and implement projects that are being implemented or have investment policies after the arrangement of administrative units at all levels.
Voters in Cam Giang district reported difficulties in granting land use right certificates, especially for those who donate land for road construction and those who inherit it; the restoration and embellishment of national monuments is especially slow...

Speaking to receive opinions from voters of Cam Giang district, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Society Trieu The Hung acknowledged the voters' valid opinions.
Comrade Trieu The Hung said that the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to have the largest volume of content and work ever and will consider many important contents.
Regarding the merger of provinces and the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, comrade Trieu The Hung said that the settlement of administrative procedures at the grassroots level will still ensure convenience for people, especially when promoting digital transformation, implementing online public services and decentralizing the settlement of administrative procedures to the commune level.
He emphasized that voters' opinions on urgently implementing mergers and streamlining the apparatus, ensuring objectivity, fairness, and selecting people with heart, vision, and ethics to serve the people are sincere and legitimate opinions.
