Initial investigation results determined that Duong suspected his wife, Ms. DTH in Thai Nguyen province, of having an illicit relationship with Mr. NPD and Mr. NVH (both born in 1985, both residing in Tong Buong residential area, Thai Thinh ward).
On the morning of June 29, when he discovered Ms. H. at a hotel in Nui Deo town, Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong city), Duong brought a weapon to the above location to meet his wife. There, Duong beat Ms. H., causing injuries.
At around 12 o'clock on June 29, Duong went to Mr. D's house. At that time, only Mr. D's parents were home. Duong slashed Mr. and Mrs. P., Mr. D's parents, many times. As a result, Mr. P.'s wife died on the spot and Mr. P. was seriously injured. Before arriving at Mr. D's house, Duong slashed Mr. H., seriously injuring him.
Immediately after being slashed, Mr. P. and Mr. H. were taken to the emergency room and their health is improving.
