Digital transformation to create breakthrough value for businesses

The workshop with the theme “Smart start to exploit digital data and create breakthrough value for businesses”. This is an activity of Hai Duong to respond to National Digital Transformation Day October 10 and celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day October 13.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation attended the workshop.

Also attending were comrades: Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; member of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, leaders of FPT Group and 200 delegates representing business associations and business clubs in the province.

Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Tran Duc Thang, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Digital Transformation, emphasized that the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress determined that Hai Duong chose the path of development towards green growth and digital transformation. This is the province's consistent and comprehensive development strategy, in which the development of digital government, digital economy, and digital society is a decisive factor to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness in the short and long term. As early as March 2021, Hai Duong issued a specialized resolution on digital transformation, the first province in the country to issue this specialized resolution.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang said that with the motto "serving the people, accompanying businesses", in recent times, Hai Duong has had many solutions to create favorable conditions to attract investment and support business development. Strongly improve the investment and business environment, especially improve the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) to remove obstacles and "bottlenecks" in implementing administrative procedures related to investment, production and business activities.

In the coming time, in addition to implementing policies to support businesses issued by the Government, ministries and central branches, Hai Duong will continue to implement a number of separate policies to support businesses in a number of areas such as policies to support trade promotion, industrial promotion, labor training support; bank-business connection program, credit priority for small and medium enterprises... At the same time, implement a number of policies to support businesses.

Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang emphasized that in the process of developing the digital economy and digital society, digital transformation in enterprises is considered an effective solution, bringing positive results not only in quality and productivity but also significantly improving management methods and business methods. He hopes that through this workshop, new visions will be opened up on implementing digital transformation in enterprises, making useful contributions to business fields and industries. At the same time, discuss, share experiences, find new ideas, good and creative ways of doing things.

At the workshop, leaders and experts from the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Industry and Trade and FPT Corporation introduced digital transformation solutions for small and medium enterprises such as: Digital transformation and digital economic development; some solutions for digital economic development in the field of industry and trade; smart start to exploit digital data and create breakthrough values ​​for businesses; accelerate business with digital transaction solutions; streamline operations and optimize costs for businesses; upgrade digital infrastructure to serve digital transformation for businesses.

Delegates attending the workshop also asked questions, exchanged and discussed the digital transformation model and roadmap, project implementation costs, human resources and the impact of digital transformation on the production and business situation of enterprises in Hai Duong province.

In his closing speech at the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Cao Thang, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, said that in the coming time, the Department of Information and Communications will coordinate with agencies and units to advise on the issuance of a plan for the development of the digital economy and digital society until 2025, with a vision to 2030. Focus on deploying digital applications and platforms; building and sharing common data, combining modern technologies into the management, production and business processes to increase business efficiency. At the same time, create real results, improve customer experience and create competitive advantages in the market for businesses.
