Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the program 'Digital Education for All'.
Accordingly, Hai Duong plans to organize 6 training classes, each class lasting 15 days. Specifically, in March 2025, it will work with the Ministry of Public Security to configure lectures on the MOOC platform and post learning materials on the province's 3-level inter-connected electronic information portal system.
In April 2025, training will be organized for all youth union members; in May, training will be organized for all women's union members; in June, training will be organized for all farmer union members; in July, training will be organized for all veteran union members at all levels in the province.
In August 2025, all people in the province can register to study.
Community Digital Technology Team; youth union members, women's union members, farmers, veterans and all people in the province will be informed, guided and supported to access digital technology devices and applications such as: popularizing the use of computers, smart devices, and social networks. People are also guided to use online public services and interact with the government via digital platforms; ensuring safety when accessing the internet. The program also guides people to participate in e-commerce platforms, sales skills via e-commerce platforms and non-cash electronic payment skills.
The above training program is organized online on the MOOC platform developed by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
“Digital Literacy for All” is a program to popularize digital knowledge and skills for all classes of people, especially young people, workers, farmers, the elderly and people in remote areas. In November 2024, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the implementation of the “Digital Literacy for All” movement to eliminate digital illiteracy, so that no one is left behind in the process of national digital transformation.
Deploying the "Digital Education for All" program is also one of the contents to implement Resolution 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Plan No. 726/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee to implement Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP dated January 9 of the Government and Action Program No. 113-CTr/TU dated February 18 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to implement Resolution No. 57.
