On the morning of November 1, the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work.

Comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee attended the conference and presented the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to transfer Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thao, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and appoint her to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee from November 1, 2024 until reaching retirement age according to regulations.

Speaking at the assignment, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasized that the mobilization and appointment of cadres is a regular task to promote the capacity, strengths, training and education of the province's cadres to meet the requirements of assigned tasks. This is a step to prepare personnel for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasized that recently, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has regularly paid attention to the work of building a team of female leaders and managers in the province to develop both quantity and quality.

The proportion of women participating in Party committees and People's Councils at 3 levels in the following term is higher than the previous term. Currently, the proportion of women participating in the Provincial Party Executive Committee is 15.38%; at the district level is 19.45%; at the grassroots level is 19.39%. One female cadre participates in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, accounting for 6.67%; at the district level is 11.35%, at the grassroots level is 10.7%. The proportion of women participating in the Provincial People's Council is 28.57%, at the district level is 26.78%. The number of female cadres holding key leadership positions in provincial agencies and units accounts for 26.4%, of which 11 people hold the position of head and 47 people hold the position of deputy head.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang assessed that Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thao is a well-trained cadre with good moral qualities. The transfer and appointment of Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thao to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission is an important addition to the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission in advising the Provincial Party Committee on leading and directing the activities of socio-political organizations in the coming time.

Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thao was born in 1971, from Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province. She has a master's degree in educational management and advanced political theory.
Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Thao has 30 years of working experience at the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union, holding the positions of Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union and Chief of Office of the Provincial Women's Union.
