Mr. Do Anh Tu has submitted a resignation letter from the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TPBank for personal reasons and has been approved by the Board of Directors.
On the morning of March 21, Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank - Code: TPB) announced that it had received the resignation letter of Mr. Do Anh Tu, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, at his personal request on March 20.
Previously, on March 20, the bank's Board of Directors issued a resolution accepting the resignation of Mr. Do Anh Tu as a member of the Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term.
Mr. Do Anh Tu is an Associate Professor in Energy Machinery at the Technical University of Prague, Czech Republic, and is a leading expert in the field of brand management and marketing.
In April 2023, Mr. Do Anh Tu was elected as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TPBank for the 2023 - 2028 term. Currently, Mr. Tu is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Diana Joint Stock Company under Unicharm Group, Japan and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tien Phong Securities Joint Stock Company (TPS - Code: ORS).
TPS also announced that Mr. Do Anh Tu submitted his resignation from the position of member of the Board of Directors at this securities company on March 18. Mr. Tu was elected to the TPS Board of Directors for the 2021-2026 term from March 15, 2021.
Thus, TPBank's Board of Directors currently has 5 members: Mr. Do Minh Phu, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Shuzo Shikata, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Suong, member of the Board of Directors; Ms. Vo Bich Ha, member of the Board of Directors.
