On September 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Thanh Ha District Police decided to prosecute a criminal case of robbery at the 9999 Kien Thu gold and silver store in Thanh Khe commune (Thanh Ha, Hai Duong).
Previously, at around 6:10 p.m. on September 22, Nguyen Xuan Duy (born in 2002 in An Liet 3 village, Thanh Hai commune) rode a Honda Vison motorbike to the front of the 9999 Kien Thu gold shop in Xuan An village, Thanh Khe commune with the intention of robbing property. When entering the shop, Duy used a box cutter to threaten and assault the sales staff to take property. Immediately after, the shop owner and staff fought back and captured the robber.
Duy is a freelance worker, his family has 2 brothers. Due to illegal drug use, at the end of May 2024, the Chairman of Thanh Hai Commune People's Committee decided to apply measures to manage illegal drug users for a period of 1 year to Duy.
