Mr. Van was also temporarily suspended from his duties and powers as a National Assembly delegate and a standing member of the Finance and Budget Committee, a delegate of the 15th National Assembly (Ca Mau province).

Mr. Le Thanh Van, 60 years old, is from Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province. He is a Doctor of Law, a Standing Member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the 14th and 15th National Assembly. He was a National Assembly delegate for 3 consecutive terms 13-15.
He used to work at the Political Department, Brigade 299, Corps I. In January 2004, he worked at the Department of Delegation Affairs, Office of the National Assembly, then held various positions at the Institute of Legislative Studies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, then as a Standing Member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly.
In December 2014, he was mobilized, transferred and appointed by the Secretariat to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee. A year later, he returned to work at the National Assembly as a Standing Member of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee, until now.
