Nguyen Thanh Tung in My Duc (Hanoi) has just been prosecuted by Hai Duong City Police for illegally storing and using military weapons.

The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong City Police has prosecuted and executed an arrest warrant for Nguyen Thanh Tung (born in 1992, in Hop Tien Commune, My Duc District, Hanoi) for the act of illegally storing and using military weapons.
Previously, on August 1, the Criminal Police Team (Hai Duong City Police) coordinated with Hai Tan Ward Police to inspect Tung's rented residence at house number 938, Le Thanh Nghi Street, discovered and seized 2 semi-automatic rifles and 2 boxes containing 898 bullets. Tung confessed to buying the above guns and bullets in 2017 from a person in Ho Chi Minh City through social networks for 30 million VND. Tung further confessed that from 2019 until he was discovered and arrested, he introduced and directly sold a number of hunting guns to a number of people in Tu Ky and Gia Loc districts.
Hai Duong City Police have handed over the case to the Investigation Security Agency of Hai Duong Provincial Police for further investigation and handling according to authority.
