Information from Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department) said that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police are trying to approach and extinguish the tanker fire on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.
On the morning of April 1, the Commander of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1 (Traffic Police Department) said that at Km 124+500, through Y Can commune, Tran Yen district (Yen Bai province), a tanker truck fire was occurring.
"We are approaching the scene of the fire, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Yen Bai Province Police have arrived at the scene," said the Commander of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 1.
According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, the initial determination was that the tanker driver died on the spot, the injured assistant was taken to the emergency room.
At the scene, the tanker truck was completely burned. Currently, authorities are continuing to put out the fire and carry out rescue work.
