Hai Duong City Police temporarily detained 2 subjects using and trading drugs

The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong City Police has just decided to prosecute and temporarily detain Pham Cong Tuan (born in 1992 in Ngoc Ky commune, Tu Ky) and Nguyen Van Phuc (born in 1980 in Hoang Dieu commune, Gia Loc) for the crime of illegal use and trafficking of drugs.

Previously, on August 18, at a motel in Truong Thinh urban area, Tu Minh ward, Hai Duong city, Hai Duong city police coordinated to catch Tuan red-handed with a female subject from Thuy Nguyen, Hai Phong city preparing drug use tools. At the scene, the police seized a plastic bag containing Ketamine, a glass cup containing MDMA. Through a quick test, Tuan and the female subject both tested positive for drugs.

Expanding the investigation, the police discovered that Tuan had bought drugs from Phuc. At Phuc’s residence, the police seized 21 packages of Ketamine and 10 yellow tablets (MDMA candy-like drugs). Phuc confessed that he had hidden the drugs to sell for profit.

Both Tuan and Phuc have no criminal record.
