Two subjects Doan Trong Tuan and Vu Thi Tam (both from Hai Duong city) were just caught red-handed while illegally buying and selling drugs.
On January 16, Hai Duong City Police issued a decision to prosecute and temporarily detain Doan Trong Tuan, born in 1962, residing in Quang Trung ward, and Vu Thi Tam, born in 1965, residing in Ngoc Chau ward (both in Hai Duong city) for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.
Previously, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Hai Duong City Police discovered that Tuan and Tam often interacted with each other and showed signs of illegally buying and selling drugs to many addicts in the area.
At around 6:40 p.m. on January 15, when Tam and Tuan were preparing to sell a package of crystal meth, they were caught red-handed by the police.
Vu Thi Tam had a previous conviction of 7 years in prison for illegal drug trafficking, released in 2017. Doan Trong Tuan regularly used drugs.
The case is currently being investigated by Hai Duong City Police.
