Students of high schools in Quang Binh province are supported with tuition fees for the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year with an amount of more than 5 billion VND.
The support amount is taken from the education career capital source in the 2023 provincial budget estimate.
With the above support amount, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province requires that high schools in the province are responsible for using the state budget for the right purposes and making financial settlements in accordance with regulations.
This is the second year that Quang Binh province has passed a resolution to exempt tuition fees for local students to share and reduce difficulties with the people.
In the 2023-2024 school year, students in ethnic minority areas, border areas, mountainous areas, and especially disadvantaged communes in coastal areas in Quang Binh province will be exempted from tuition fees for the entire year. In the remaining areas, students will be exempted from tuition fees for the first semester. Public preschool and general education institutions and continuing education institutions with reduced tuition revenue will receive additional funding from the Provincial People's Committee.
