The highest score in the second round of the 2025 thinking assessment exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology was 92.69/100. This valedictorian came from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted. Hong Quang High School (Hai Duong) had the 9th highest score.
On March 17, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the second round of thinking assessment test scores for 2025. This test took place on March 8-9 with nearly 19,000 candidates registering to take the test, held at the same time at 30 test locations.
The highest score of the second round this year belonged to a candidate from Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted with 92.69/100 points. According to the school, this round of exams had 4 candidates scoring over 90 points; 67 candidates scoring over 80 points; 847 candidates scoring over 70 points. The average score of the first round in 2025 was 54.39/100.
Previously, the valedictorian of the first batch was also a candidate from Bac Ninh Specialized High School with 98.61 points - the highest score ever.
Starting from 2025, Hanoi University of Science and Technology will issue exam result certificates to candidates in the form of electronic signatures and sent directly to the candidates' exam registration accounts on the system. Candidates can access their registered accounts at https://tsa.hust.edu.vn to view their second round exam results.
The results of the thinking assessment test are currently used in university admissions for the 2025 admissions season with more than 50 schools using them. The method of converting the thinking assessment test scores to the same starting point for admissions with other methods will be determined by each school using the results. Particularly for Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the weighting for the thinking assessment test scores is expected to be higher and will be prioritized in the conversion formula.
The Thinking Assessment Test has one more round taking place on April 26-27. Registration will be open from April 1-6.
