Hai Duong solicits public opinion on the draft Political Report of the 17th Provincial Party Executive Committee

In Official Dispatch No. 75-CV/BTGDV dated April 10, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission suggested that comments should focus on the following key contents: Regarding the title of the political report with the goal of "... determined to strive to turn Hai Duong into a modern industrial province by 2030, basically meeting the criteria of a centrally-run city", it may no longer be suitable when merging new administrative units, it is necessary to participate in the direction of new proposals and supplements.

The section on evaluating the results of implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress focuses on giving comments on the honesty and objectivity in assessing achievements and limitations. Clarify the remaining aspects, objective and subjective causes in the process of leadership, direction and implementation of political tasks of the province. Analyze further the lessons learned from the practice of leadership, direction and operation, especially in the context of adjusting the organizational apparatus, administrative units and new development policies and guidelines.

In the section on forecasting the context and development orientation, it is necessary to comment on the major changes in the new context and new administrative units when implementing the Central's merger policy. Emphasize the need to update and adjust forecast analyses associated with the new development space, characteristics of the dynamic economic region and the Northern coastal economic corridor. Suggest models of cooperation, coordination, resource sharing, and functional zoning between regions in the merged unit.

In the viewpoints, goals, and directions for the 2025-2030 term, it is possible to contribute ideas on shifting from the specific development goals of Hai Duong province to the general development goals after merging the new administrative unit and the region.
