Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Hieu promotes investment in Shenzhen (China)

On the afternoon of October 29, a working delegation of Hai Duong province led by comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, visited, surveyed and worked with the Shenzhen City Business Association (China).

Also participating in the working delegation were comrade Nguyen Van Phu, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities in Hai Duong province.

Mr. Li Huanchang, Chairman of Shenzhen Young Entrepreneurs Association, representative of Shenzhen City Enterprise Association (China) and representatives of 11 enterprises of the city received and worked with the delegation.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, briefly informed about the economic, political, cultural and social situation of Hai Duong province and policies to attract foreign enterprises to invest in Hai Duong.

Comrade Le Van Hieu said that Hai Duong is currently calling on Chinese enterprises in general as well as Shenzhen enterprises to focus on investing in the fields of agriculture, healthcare, and education.

Along with complying with the provisions of Vietnamese law, Hai Duong hopes that when businesses invest in Hai Duong, they will pay more attention to workers and laborers with salaries higher than the average of the province. Currently, the province is interested in directing the promotion of administrative procedure reform to attract foreign investors, including China.

Among the 11 enterprises in Shenzhen City, some are investing in Hai Duong. At the meeting, the enterprises also briefly informed about their production and business activities, mainly focusing on areas such as telecommunications technology; providing solutions on science and technology; investing in international education; manufacturing consumer goods, etc.

Shenzhen enterprises also expressed interest and desire to come to survey investment in Hai Duong province.

Head of the Hai Duong Province Industrial Parks Management Board Nguyen Trung Kien informed about the situation of industrial parks in Hai Duong province and the advantages of investing in Hai Duong in terms of transportation, labor resources, activities to remove difficulties and obstacles for investors operating in the province and answered and clarified some issues that Shenzhen enterprises are interested in.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue exchanging information to promote investment activities of Shenzhen enterprises in Hai Duong. This is an important and practical activity, aiming to strongly and effectively promote investment and trade attraction connections, contributing to enhancing the Vietnam - China relationship.
