The Investigation Police Agency of Cam Giang District Police (Hai Duong) has just decided to prosecute Lo Van Cuong (born in 1995, residing in Tong Lanh Commune, Thuan Chau District, Son La) for the crime of illegal drug trafficking.

Cuong has been using synthetic drugs since around December 2023 and has been renting a room in Tu Minh Ward (Hai Duong City). On January 8, while at work, Cuong bought 6 synthetic drug pills from a friend in the community for 600,000 VND. Cuong used up 1 pill and hid the remaining 5 pills in the rented room.
At noon on January 22, while Cuong was working at a company in Dai An Industrial Park (Hai Duong City), someone called to ask to buy drugs. Cuong agreed to sell 5 pills of drugs for 500,000 VND. At around 7:45 p.m. the same day, Cuong brought 5 pills of drugs to the road near the gate of Kim Xa village, Cam Doai commune (Cam Giang) to sell, but was caught red-handed by Cam Giang District Police.
