On the morning of January 10, the Hai Duong Literature and Arts Association awarded the 2022 Literature and Arts Composition Contest with the theme "For a peaceful life" in Hai Duong Literature and Arts Magazine.
Representatives of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations awarded a certificate of merit to the Hai Duong Literature and Arts Association for its outstanding achievements in literary and artistic activities in 2022.
The 2022 Literature and Arts Composition Contest with the theme "For a Peaceful Life" was held from January to December 2022, attracting 32 authors with 41 works. As a result, 8 authors won prizes. Author Nguyen Sy Doan with the short story collection "Stories in a Prison Camp", "Night Calls", "Doctor with a Green Uniform" won first prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and 3 consolation prizes for outstanding works. The works entered this year are rich and diverse in many different genres, with attractive and creative content, attracting authors from other provinces to participate.

At the award ceremony, the association launched the Literature and Arts Composition Contest "For National Security and Peaceful Life". The contest is open to writers and authors inside and outside the People's Public Security Force. The Organizing Committee will begin accepting entries after the launch ceremony and will end on April 15, 2025 (according to the postmark or email sending time). The closing and award ceremony is expected to be held in August 2025, awarding prizes according to each genre such as short stories, memoirs, novels, etc.
