The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize the Fine Arts Exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day.
The exhibition is organized to honor and introduce to the public typical works of fine arts of generations of artists, painters, sculptors... who have made many contributions, imprints, and contributions to the development of advanced Vietnamese fine arts imbued with national identity, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; meeting the increasing needs of spiritual life, enjoyment of culture and art of the people, contributing to socio-economic development.
The Fine Arts Exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification Day is scheduled to take place in April 2025. The Organizing Committee will select about 50 outstanding works of art from all over the country to display and introduce to the public. The works selected for display at the exhibition must be outstanding, representative works of art, consistent with Vietnamese customs, practices and cultural identity. The Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions is responsible for contacting the authors, selecting, classifying and making a list of authors, works and preparing to organize the exhibition according to plan.
Through the techniques and artistic language in paintings, sculptures, etc., through the Fine Arts Exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification Day, art lovers are reminded of the great victories of our army and people in the resistance war against the imperialist invaders, reviewing the glorious and brilliant history on the path of building and defending the country. At the same time, they are more deeply aware of the values and lessons learned from the practical struggles of the nation to add strength and determination in the work of building and defending the Fatherland, turning glorious achievements into motivation to complete the historical mission in the new era - the era of striving, developing prosperity, civilization, happiness and prosperity of the Vietnamese people.
