People's Artist Cong Ly resigns from his position as Deputy Director of Hanoi Drama Theater

People's Artist Trung Hieu confirmed that People's Artist Cong Ly has resigned from his position as Deputy Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater. However, although he does not hold a management role, People's Artist Cong Ly is still an actor at the Hanoi Drama Theater, and if there is a suitable role, he will still participate.

Ngoc Ha, wife of People's Artist Cong Ly, said that by the end of March 2025, her husband will end his role as deputy director at the theater.

"Cong Ly expressed his deep gratitude to the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the theater's leadership, especially the director, People's Artist Trung Hieu, and all colleagues who have always accompanied, supported and encouraged me during my time in this position.

On this occasion, Cong Ly sends his best wishes to his successor, hoping that the position of deputy director will continue to promote his role in contributing with the leadership and brothers and sisters in the theater to make Hanoi Drama Theater an artistic highlight not only in the capital but also spreading its influence throughout the country," People's Artist Cong Ly shared on his personal page.

People's Artist Cong Ly said that during his illness, he received help from the leaders and Director of Hanoi Drama Theater - People's Artist Trung Hieu.

"During my time as deputy director, the enthusiastic support of People's Artist Trung Hieu helped me complete my tasks well, contributing to the development of Hanoi Drama Theater. At the same time, the encouragement and support from People's Artist Trung Hieu is also a source of strength for me to overcome difficulties and health problems in life.

I send my best wishes to the audience, who have always supported, followed and encouraged Cong Ly for a long time. I always look forward to meeting the audience again in film projects on the small screen or on stage that are suitable for my current health condition," People's Artist Cong Ly shared.

In 2020, People's Artist Cong Ly was appointed Deputy Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater. Not long after that, the artist suffered a health incident.

People's Artist Cong Ly was born in 1973. In addition to participating in plays such as He is not my father, Cold Zone, Virus Chorus, The Sound of the Grassland, Love Story of a Thousand Years, The Land of Many People and Many Ghosts..., People's Artist Cong Ly also participated in many popular TV series as both actor and assistant director such as: When a widowed man burst into tears, Poplar Love Song, Girls in the City, Rose on the Left Chest, Sunflower Against the Sun and most recently My Father, the One Who Stays... He is most famous for his role as Bac Dau in the Tao Quan program.
