According to information from the People's Committee of Thieu Van commune, Thanh Hoa city, an alcohol poisoning incident has just occurred in the commune, causing many people to be hospitalized.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 3, a group of 6 people, all residing in Thanh Hoa city, visited the family of an acquaintance in village 1, Thieu Van commune.
After that, this group of people and the homeowner sat down to drink wine, eat snails and some other dishes.
After eating, 7 people showed symptoms of poisoning so they were taken to Thanh Hoa General Hospital by relatives for emergency treatment. One person had convulsions so he was transferred to Hanoi for treatment.
According to the leader of Thieu Van commune, as of June 6, the health of 6 patients being treated at Thanh Hoa General Hospital is gradually stabilizing.
It is known that before the incident, one of the group brought mushroom wine to drink together.
