Gun attack on commune police headquarters in Dak Lak: 6 suspects arrested, 2 hostages rescued

The leader of Cu Kuin District Party Committee (Dak Lak) said that by noon on June 11, the authorities had captured 6 suspects involved in the gun attack on the commune police headquarters and rescued 2 hostages.

Authorities blocked the road to the People's Committee of Ea Ktur commune, Cu Kuin district to arrest the group of suspects.

Earlier, on the morning of June 11, Lieutenant General To An Xo, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, said that according to a report from the Dak Lak Provincial Police, early on the morning of June 11, in Cu Kuin district, a group of unidentified people used guns to attack the police headquarters of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, killing and injuring a number of commune police officers, commune officials, and residents...

Currently, the Ministry of Public Security has directed the Dak Lak Provincial Police and professional units to deploy to arrest the above mentioned group of subjects. The Ministry of Public Security requests people in Cu Kuin district and neighboring areas to remain calm, not panic, and follow the requests of local authorities and functional forces.
