Kim Thanh organizes the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing" in 2024

At the program, Kim Thanh district presented 60 gifts to the poor and 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances in the district, each worth 700,000 VND.

With the motto of not letting the poor, the disadvantaged, and orphans go without Tet, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024 this year, Kim Thanh district mobilized agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists to support nearly 1,300 gifts for the poor and disadvantaged children in the district. Of which, the district level mobilized 495 gifts with a total amount of more than 229 million VND. The commune level mobilized 780 gifts, worth nearly 313 million VND; received 400 gifts from Thien Tam Fund, worth 240 million VND.

In addition to mobilizing organizations and individuals, on the occasion of this year's Lunar New Year, Kim Thanh district also used the district's Fund for the Poor to give 177 gifts to households in especially difficult circumstances and policy families, with a total amount of 17.7 million VND. The commune-level People's Committee used the Fund for the Poor to give 144 gifts to families and children in especially difficult circumstances, with a total amount of over 103 million VND.

The Kim Thanh District Labor Federation actively called for, mobilized, and directed grassroots unions to organize activities to care for union members and workers. The entire district presented 540 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; encouraged and wished a happy new year to 9 self-managed groups of workers' dormitories.
