Thanh Ha has 5 communes that will partially merge with communes of Tu Ky, Kim Thanh and Hai Duong city.

According to the project to rearrange administrative units at the commune level of Hai Duong province in 2025, Thanh Ha district will have 5 communes. 5 communes will be partially merged with communes and wards of Tu Ky, Kim Thanh and Hai Duong city.
