According to the representative of Gia Loc district, by March 17, the whole district had completed 102 houses for policy beneficiaries, the poor and near-poor, the most in Hai Duong province.
Among the completed houses, 3 were newly built, the rest were repaired. Some communes have many completed houses such as: Quang Duc 17 houses, Yet Kieu 14 houses, Hoang Dieu 5 houses...
Up to now, Gia Loc District People's Committee has allocated 9.6 billion VND to communes and many localities have completed disbursing funds to support house construction and transferred them to people.
Gia Loc's units, organizations and unions also supported over 500 working days to dismantle old houses, move furniture... for the above households.
According to the report on the software system monitoring the progress of implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, Gia Loc district has 239 households registered to build new houses and repair houses, of which 77 households registered to build new houses, the rest to repair.
