According to the leader of Van Duc ward, Chi Linh city (Hai Duong), in the early morning of June 2, authorities and family found the body of Ms. NTT (born in 1984, living in Ben Do residential area, Van Duc ward), who is suspected of jumping off Dong Mai bridge to commit suicide on the morning of May 31.

At 6:05 a.m. on June 2, Ms. T's body was found floating on the Dong Mai River, about 200 meters from Dong Mai Bridge.
Ms. T. sells at Sao Do market, Sao Do ward (Chi Linh city), has a husband and 2 children, her husband is a worker. For many months now, she has shown signs of depression and is suspected of having a stomach disease. When Ms. T. left home, her husband went to work the night shift so he did not know.
Earlier in the morning of May 31, people discovered on Dong Mai bridge (in Van Duc ward) that a person suspected of jumping off the bridge to commit suicide and immediately reported it to the authorities.
Authorities and residents discovered a piece of paper with a paragraph titled “Letter of Confession” left by the suspect who jumped off the bridge. The content of the “Letter of Confession” reads: “I apologize to my parents, I apologize to my husband, and my mother apologizes to my two children. I am really tired. I no longer have the strength to fight the disease. I am truly sorry.” At the end of the “Letter of Confession” is written “child T.”
Authorities continue to investigate and clarify the incident.
