According to private information from a reporter from Hai Duong Newspaper, at around 5:30 p.m. on May 20, authorities found the body of a young man suspected of committing suicide by jumping off the old Phu Luong bridge.
Previously, at 2:30 a.m. on May 20, Mr. Nguyen Lang H. drove Mr. Do Trung M., also from Hanoi (who works for an advertising agency in Hai Duong City). When they reached the middle of Phu Luong Bridge, Mr. H. suddenly stopped the motorbike to smoke a cigarette. While the two were smoking, Mr. H. suddenly jumped from the bridge into the river.
Authorities continue to investigate and clarify the incident.
