Hai Duong Provincial Police mobilized to ensure security and order during the 2024 Lunar New Year

Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of Steering Committee 138 of Hai Duong province and leaders of relevant departments, branches, and forces of Hai Duong Provincial Police attended the launching ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the police force to comprehensively and synchronously deploy measures to grasp the situation early, from afar, and from the grassroots level. Proactively analyze, evaluate, identify, and accurately forecast the situation, subjects, and issues related to security and order in the province, in each locality, field, and topic. On that basis, promptly deploy measures and policies to prevent and effectively combat all types of crimes and law violations, contributing to maintaining security and order, avoiding being passive or surprised in any situation.

The provincial police advise on timely resolution and stabilization of conflicts, disputes, complaints, strikes, and work stoppages, preventing the formation of "hot spots" in terms of security and order; absolutely protecting the safety of key targets, projects, political, economic, cultural, social events, and activities of Party and State leaders on the occasions of Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year, and spring festivals.

Focus on cracking down on organized crime, crimes related to "black credit", crimes using weapons and explosives to commit crimes, robberies, snatching, extortion, theft, and fraud. Strengthen the detection and fight against corruption, economic crimes, smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, prohibited goods, high-tech crimes, crimes and violations of laws on the environment, resources, food safety, etc. Prevent and not let complicated situations arise in the production, trading, transportation, and illegal use of fireworks before, during, and after the 2024 Lunar New Year.

Departments, branches, sectors, unions, and local Steering Committee 138 should step up propaganda to each cadre, member, and citizen to raise awareness, proactively prevent, and actively participate in denouncing crimes...

All levels and sectors continue to improve the effectiveness of state management; resolutely deploy solutions to apply the National Database on Population, Citizen Identification and Project 06 of the Government to serve social management and fight against crime. Organize well the work of patrolling, controlling openly and ambushing to prevent and stop crime. Strengthen the work of ensuring traffic order and safety, absolutely do not allow illegal racing, disturbing public order, affecting the security and order situation in the province...

Members of the Steering Committee 138 at all levels, heads of departments, branches, sectors, organizations and localities must enhance their roles and responsibilities in leadership, direction, and mobilization of the entire political system and people to join the police force in deploying and implementing the peak period resolutely and effectively...

After the launching ceremony, the provincial police forces organized a parade on several main roads in Hai Duong city.

On the same morning, the police of districts, towns and cities of the province also simultaneously launched a campaign to carry out the peak period.

Peak season lasts from now until February 29, 2024.
