The education sector of Thai Binh province will review and discipline the principal of Hiep Hoa Primary and Secondary School (Vu Thu district) for organizing classes on holidays.

Parents of students at Hiep Hoa Primary and Secondary School are upset that their children have to go to school on the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day holiday (10th day of the third lunar month). According to the parents, the reason for the school's make-up classes is so that on Saturday (April 20), students will have the day off so that teachers can attend the principal's daughter's wedding.

Speaking to reporters, the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Vu Thu district confirmed the incident as reported by the parents. Hiep Hoa Primary and Secondary School organized for secondary school students to go to school on the Hung Kings' death anniversary holiday. The school did not report to the Department of Education and Training of Vu Thu district about the change in the school schedule, causing parents to be upset.

According to this leader, Mr. Nguyen Thang Thien, the school's principal, submitted an explanation to the Department of Education and Training, but the explanation did not contain enough information as required by the district leaders. Therefore, Mr. Thien had to supplement and complete the explanation according to the true nature of the incident.
