On the morning of February 17, the Department of Education and Training held a training session on "Applying mind map teaching techniques in teaching descriptive paragraph writing in Vietnamese subject 3 of the 2018 general education program".
280 managers and primary school teachers attended the training
The training was attended by 280 managers and teachers from primary education institutions in the province. Teachers heard the following content: Why is it necessary to use mind maps in teaching and learning; methods and techniques for quick learning and long-term memory; sharing practical aspects of teaching, management, and inspiring students to learn. Teachers watched a video of a Vietnamese lesson for grade 3 that applied the teaching technique of drawing mind maps.
Teachers discuss, analyze, evaluate the lesson and have their questions answered... Applying mind mapping techniques to teaching brings positive results, improving the quality of teaching and learning. This technique helps teachers and learners easily link knowledge, relate to reality to understand problems deeply; students quickly and deeply remember knowledge.
The trained teachers are all professional group leaders of primary education institutions. After the training, these teachers will deploy and disseminate the training content at their units to effectively implement the 2018 general education program.
