Hai Duong students return to the national team, conquering the international arena after 3 years

That is Nguyen Hai An, a 12th grade IT student at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted. Hai An was trained by Mr. Le Thanh Binh, the teacher in charge of the national IT team of Hai Duong province.

Hai An excellently achieved 161.38 points, ranked 12th out of 15 students with the highest scores nationwide in the national team selection exam for the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad.

With this result, Hai An entered the national team to compete in the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad.

Thus, since 2021, after Hai Duong had 2 students from Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted winning gold medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad and bronze medals at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, Hai Duong has only now had students enter the international competition team.

Previously, from March 25 to 27, the Ministry of Education and Training organized an exam to select the national team to compete in the 2025 International and Regional Olympics. 187 outstanding students representing high school students across the country were summoned to attend. These are the students with the highest achievements in the national exam to select excellent high school students for the 2024-2025 school year organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Of the 187 students competing in the national team for the international and regional Olympics this year, Hai Duong has 4 students who are all 12th graders at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted (Hai Duong City), including: Nguyen Hai An, majoring in IT; Tran Minh Chi, majoring in Chemistry; Truong Ngoc Hieu and Vu Viet Ha, both majoring in Math.

Currently, Tran Minh Chi, chemistry major; Truong Ngoc Hieu and Vu Viet Ha, math major are waiting for results.
