Of the 104 high school teachers recognized by the Hai Duong Department of Education and Training as excellent teachers at the provincial level for the 2024-2025 school year, 54 are excellent teachers.
On the afternoon of January 21, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong summarized the provincial-level excellent teacher competition for high school teachers in the 2024-2025 school year in Hai Duong city.
Launched in January 2024, the contest attracted 47 junior high school teachers and 89 high school teachers to participate. 8/20 non-public high schools had teachers participating in the contest. The oldest teacher was 53 years old, the youngest was 25 years old. The teacher had the longest teaching time of 32 years, the least of 1 year.
Teachers participate in 2 parts of the competition: presenting a report on pedagogical measures and practicing teaching. The secondary school level exam is in the biology subject of natural science and English. The high school level exam is in history and chemistry.
After the pedagogical measures report, 120 candidates were eligible to take the teaching practice exam. Of which, 47 were junior high school candidates and 73 were high school candidates.
According to the organizers, the contestants have carefully prepared their presentations and lessons. The measures closely follow the 2018 general education program; many teachers apply AI technology in teaching...
However, some measures have unclear objectives and are presented in a rambling manner; some lessons do not meet the requirements of the 2018 general education program. Many lectures abuse games, are greedy for knowledge, and focus on presentations; and do not pay attention to helping students apply knowledge to solve practical problems...
The Organizing Committee awarded certificates of excellent teachers to 104 teachers, including 45 secondary school teachers and 59 high school teachers; recognized 54 teachers with excellent teaching hours; and rewarded 12 groups with outstanding achievements at the competition.
