On December 20, the Department of Education and Training opened the contest for excellent primary school teachers in Hai Duong province, school year 2023-2024.

48 contestants including 24 grade 3 teachers and 24 grade 5 teachers from primary schools in 12 district-level Departments of Education and Training participated in the contest. These are excellent teachers selected from the district-level excellent teacher contest.
Each teacher will participate in 2 parts of the competition, including: a practical test of teaching a lesson according to the teaching plan at the time of the competition and presenting a measure to contribute to improving the quality of teaching work of the individual at the educational institution where the teacher is working. Grade 5 teachers will compete directly, grade 3 teachers will compete by recording a video and sending it to the Organizing Committee.

Candidates were divided into groups and took the exam at Dinh Van Ta Primary School (Hai Duong City) and Cam Dong and Cao An Primary Schools (Cam Giang).
The contest takes place from December 20-29 and is expected to conclude in early January 2024.
In the 2022-2023 school year, Hai Duong will organize a competition for excellent teachers of grades 2 and 4.
