From January 9-11, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong organized the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition for secondary education and continuing education for the 2023-2024 school year.

The contest attracted 161 teachers from secondary schools under 12 district-level Departments of Education and Training; high schools, Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center and Hai Duong College of Culture, Arts and Tourism. There were 48 secondary school teachers, 88 high school teachers and 25 continuing education teachers. These were excellent teachers selected from school and district-level contests.
Teachers participate in 2 parts of the competition: presenting a report on pedagogical measures and practicing teaching. The secondary school level tests geography in the subject of history and geography; the chemistry in the subject of natural science. The high school level tests literature and physics. The continuing education sector tests history and physics.
For the pedagogical measures report test, on January 9, teachers of continuing education took the test at the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education of Tu Ky district. On January 10, teachers of secondary school took the test at Ngoc Chau Secondary School (Hai Duong city). On January 11, teachers of secondary school took the test at Nguyen Van Cu High School (Hai Duong city).
The practical teaching test will take place at the end of February 2024.
