Building a booster pump station to overcome the lack of clean water in Lau Khe village

The booster pumping station was built in Dau Ben village (Hop Tien commune), located between Lau Khe village and the water plant in An Binh commune.

To solve the shortage of domestic water for many households in Lau Khe village, Hiep Cat commune (Nam Sach), Nam Son Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company has constructed a booster pumping station in Dau Ben village, Hop Tien commune (in the same Nam Sach district). This pumping station is located between Lau Khe village and the water plant in An Binh commune to increase the water pumping pressure to households.

The leader of Nam Son Trading and Construction Joint Stock Company said that the construction and installation of this pumping station will be completed in about 15-20 days. While waiting for the construction to be completed, people should use large capacity tanks to store clean water.

Previously, Nam Sach District People's Committee worked with Nam Son Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of 9 communes in the district that are using clean water from this company. The domestic water supplied by the company to households in Lau Khe village (Hiep Cat commune), La village (Hop Tien commune) and the entire Nam Hung commune has very weak pressure, leading to insufficient supply to meet demand. On February 17, Nam Sach District People's Committee issued a document requesting the company to urgently reach an agreement with Hop Tien Commune People's Committee to complete the construction of the pumping station in the first quarter.

On January 27, Hai Duong newspaper published a reader's opinion "Lau Khe villagers lack clean water". On March 6, the newspaper continued to publish a reader's opinion "Lau Khe villagers lack clean water again", reflecting that after 1 month of having clean water again, Lau Khe villagers are again facing a water shortage.
