The People's Committee of Nam Sach district (Hai Duong) has decided to enforce the land acquisition of 15 households to implement the project of building a new residential area in Nam Khe village, Hong Phong commune.

The project to build a new residential area in Nam Khe village, Hong Phong commune was approved by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province in December 2021, adjusted the investment policy and approved the investor in June 2023, with Minh Hiep Company Limited (headquartered in Hong Phong commune, Nam Sach) as the investor. The total investment capital for the project is over 98.8 billion VND.
The project has a total expected land area of over 34,000 m2of 65 households. The district has recovered and handed over 22,800 m2, reaching more than 67%.
The District People's Committee has developed a plan for compensation and support for land acquisition from households. The Compensation and Support Council for Land Clearance of the District and Hong Phong Commune have met with households many times to mobilize and disseminate information about the project, legal regulations, and policies to support land clearance. Currently, 46 households with agricultural land in the area to be acquired have agreed to receive money and hand over the land; 15 households with agricultural land, 4 households with residential land and garden and pond land in the same plot of land with houses but not recognized as residential land have not agreed to receive compensation.
Nam Sach District People's Committee has assigned Hong Phong Commune People's Committee to coordinate with the Compensation and Site Clearance Support Council and specialized departments in the district to continue working with each household. Assign specialized departments in the district to send staff to coordinate with Hong Phong Commune to meet and mobilize households that have not agreed to continue to record the proposals of households before implementing enforcement. Step up propaganda so that people can grasp accurate information about the project as well as the policies of the State and the province in land acquisition to implement socio-economic development projects according to current laws so that people understand and agree to implement the project.
The district is expected to enforce the eviction in late March and early April.
