Nam Sach district has just decided to support nearly 4.4 billion VND for communes and towns to classify, collect and treat domestic solid waste by 2025.
Of which, 354 million VND is spent to support the direction, propaganda, and implementation; the remaining amount is for communes and towns to transport and treat inorganic waste (after sorting and burning waste).
Nam Sach is a leading and typical locality of Hai Duong in implementing the Project "Solid waste treatment in the province in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030", especially the activity of waste classification at source has been deployed in all 15 communes and towns. Up to now, waste classification at source has been stable and effective.
On average in 2024, the cost of transporting and treating inorganic waste after classification in the whole district is nearly 6.7 billion VND, of which the lowest commune has a cost of about 170 million VND per year (An Son commune), the highest is Nam Sach town with nearly 1.5 billion VND.
