According to a representative of the Provincial Irrigation Sub-Department (Department of Agriculture and Environment), the province currently has 309 violations within the scope of protection of irrigation works, of which 17 violations arising in 2024 have not been handled, the rest are violations that existed before December 31, 2023.
Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has directed relevant departments, branches, units and localities to thoroughly handle all of the above violations. In case of non-self-dismantling, enforcement will be carried out to dismantle and clear the violations. Handling of violations of irrigation works must be completed before March 31. District People's Committees shall report the results of handling violations to the Department of Agriculture and Environment before April 10. The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall summarize the results of handling violations in the whole province and report to the Provincial People's Committee before April 15.
