After consideration, the locality decided to develop education as a highlight of the model new rural area.

To make education a model new rural mark, Cam Dong has expanded the campus of kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools with a total area of ​​over 6 hectares. At the same time, the commune actively mobilized capital sources to continue renovating, repairing and constructing items and works serving teaching and learning. At the time of evaluating the results of building a model new rural area, the commune had 2 schools meeting national standards level 2 and 1 school meeting standards level 1, ensuring the conditions of the outstanding field.

Similarly, Nam Tan commune has focused on improving infrastructure, creating a new and spacious appearance for schools in the area. Of the 44 billion VND spent on implementing the new rural model criteria, the commune has spent 15 billion VND on education. In addition to ensuring conditions that meet national standards, each school in the commune has built a physical education model for students to practice skills and endurance. In addition, Nam Tan has also created a vibrant and practical learning community. Thanks to that, the quality of education in the commune is always among the top in Nam Sach district.

Kim Anh Primary School is considered a high-quality school in Kim Thanh district when it has invested in synchronous infrastructure and maintained a vibrant learning movement. According to Ms. Bui Thi Nhu Hoa, Vice Principal of the school, with the attention of authorities at all levels, the school has an additional 3-storey classroom building with 9 rooms and a swimming pool area to serve teaching and learning. Thanks to that, teachers can feel secure in teaching and students can study in a better environment. The school also implements many solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Therefore, in recent years, the school has always achieved high achievements in educational activities.

Education is a dual criterion when it is necessary to improve both facilities and the quality of teaching and learning. When determining education as a key criterion, a prominent field, localities must pay attention to the human factor to build a sustainable and long-term new rural area. That is why more than half of the communes registered to reach the model new rural area have chosen education as a prominent field. However, currently only the 3 communes mentioned above have been recognized as models in education.

According to the leader of the Provincial New Rural Coordination Office, the criteria for a model new rural area are very strict, to achieve them requires great efforts and determination from localities. In which, the outstanding field must demonstrate the typical value like the local brand identity. Any commune that chooses education as a specific criterion to strive for shows that the locality cares for the root of development, which is the human factor. However, to be recognized as an outstanding field of a model new rural commune, localities must meet difficult requirements. That is, all levels of education must be recognized as meeting national standards level 1, with at least 2 schools meeting standards level 2. To do this, new school facilities are a necessary condition, and the key issue is to build a learning movement and outstanding educational quality.

Prioritizing investment in early education, Kim Anh commune is now one of the few localities with all three levels of education meeting national standards at level 2. The locality attaches importance to building an educational and learning environment in terms of both quality and quantity. The commune focuses on investing in projects and works to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Therefore, since 2020, from a lack of classrooms, the locality has ensured and met the needs of teaching and learning. Not only that, auxiliary works and advanced and modern teaching equipment have also been invested in and purchased from the budget and socialized sources.

The locality has mobilized about 20 billion VND to invest in education to become a prominent field. The work of encouraging learning and talent is also a bright spot of the locality, creating a great driving force to promote educational development. Mr. Doan Van Toan, Secretary of the Commune Party Committee, said that reaching the new rural model with the prominent field of education is both an honor and a heavy responsibility for the locality. Education is not only a long-term foundation for socio-economic development but also a measure of people's quality of life. Therefore, although it has been recognized, in the coming time, the locality will continue to pay focused attention to education.
