The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has just proposed the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council a Resolution stipulating principles, criteria, and norms for allocating local budget capital to implement the national target program on new rural construction for the 2021-2025 period in the province.

Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed to support each commune that has met the model new rural standards with 3 billion VND, and each commune that has met the advanced new rural standards with 2 billion VND.

The principle of capital allocation is focused, key and sustainable investment, ensuring centralized management, unified goals, mechanisms and policies. Implement decentralization in investment management according to the provisions of law, create initiative for state agencies and local authorities at all levels, and prevent the occurrence of outstanding debts in basic construction in new rural construction. Prioritize support for communes that have met advanced new rural standards and communes that have met model new rural standards.
